Bikedirect - a network of bicycle routes identifying main roads, bicycle lanes, local streets and off-road paths in the Adelaide metropolitan area. Maps are available online and from community locations including councils and public libraries

Adelaide City Bikes Scheme - free bike hire for travel within the City of Adelaide

South Australian Trails - walking, hiking, cycling, mountain biking, canoeing, scuba diving

  • Heysen Trail - 1200 km walking trail from the Flinders Ranges to Cape Jervis
  • Mawson Trail - 900 km off-road cycling trail from the Flinders Ranges to Adelaide
  • Riesling Trail - 27 km recreational trail between Auburn and Clare for walkers, bicycles, wheelchairs and pushers
  • Torrens Linear Park Trail - 30 km trail from the foothills to Henley Beach for joggers, walkers and cyclists 
  • Encounter Bikeway - a 30km shared bicycle/pedestrian path between Encounter Bay and Goolwa
  • Southern Veloway - bikeway alongside the Southern Expressway from  Darlington through Reynella and Noarlunga to McLaren Vale
  • Yurebilla Trail - 54 km walking trail from Belair National Park to Black Hill Conservation Park
